There is no cooler experience in summer than splashing about at beach resorts, and water sports activities for children will be available at the city's two beach attractions this summer.
Summer camps featuring sailboat, windsurfer and water ski experiences will be hosted for children at Bihaijinsha scenic area, a beach resort in Fengxian District and at Jinshan District's renowned City Beach from June 25 until the end of the summer vacation, enabling children to enjoy the fun of water sports.
They can learn to helm sailboats, master water ski skills, study sailing knowledge, wind direction and tides, and master rescue skills under the guidance of coaches, and receive certificates after passing tests under the certification system of the Chinese Yachting Association and the China Water Ski, Underwater & Powerboat Federation.

The event aims to cultivate and explore the interest and hobbies of children for water sports and boost the development of water sports among the young generation, according to Qilang Sports, the organizer which serves as a training center of sailboats for children under the authentication of the Chinese Yachting Association.
Other activities such as an electronic music festival will be presented at Bihaijinsha from June 21, with performances and barbecues featured, running until 2am.
