Earlier this year, Suzhou Creek launched a pet-friendly river cruise in Shanghai – and now, the same unforgettable experience is about to make waves on the Huangpu River!
Starting April 20, you and your furry friend can hop aboard a special Pet Night Cruise departing from Bailian Jing Wharf at 7pm.
The new luxury vessel, Yun Jin Gong Zhu (云锦公主号), will take you on a 2-hour evening journey with stunning skyline views, open-air deck access for your pets, a dedicated treat table for your four-legged companions, and even a "Pet Guinness Challenge" activity onboard!
Tickets can now be booked via the "Youth Travel (青旅出行)" mini program by China Youth Travel Service Shanghai on WeChat.
The cruise allows up to 230 bookings – around 70 have already been snapped up, with plenty still available.
Search for "青旅出行" mini program on WeChat, find the Pet Journey, and book your spot.

- Adults: 288 yuan (US$39)
- Dogs under 20kg: 88 yuan
- Dogs over 20kg: 118 yuan

The pet-friendly Suzhou Creek cruise is also still running this spring. It's a 30-minute circular route departing from Rock Bund.

A few important notes:
- Pets must be under 40 centimeters tall at the shoulder
- Pet pee pads or diapers required
- You'll need to sign a safety waiver before boarding
- Bring valid ID (passport, ID, or Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau Travel Permit)
- Boarding opens 15 minutes before departure and closes 5 minutes prior
