Timeless Chinese songs were honored on Sunday at the annual music gala of Love Radio 103.7.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China. Hong Kong singers Deric Wan and Ambrose Hui's nostalgic theme songs for the classic series "On the Edge" and "Lavender" received awards as favorite hits.
Other winning songs include Alex To's "I Have Spoiled You," Wang Rong's "I Am Not Huang Rong," Shin's "The Farewell Song" and Yan Yidan's "Three Inches of Heaven."
The romantic melodies and rich elements in the songs have impressed generations of music lovers. They have also been a part of the development of China's pop music over the past decades.
Singers also gave their new interpretation of these songs on stage and interacted with the local audience at the gala.
