'Wonka' movie opens across China on Friday

Fantasy adventure film "Wonka," which is the latest to focus its lens on Willy Wonka from the children's novel "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," hits cinemas across China on December 8.

Meanwhile, a Wonka-themed chocolate and candy exhibition is being staged at Suhewan MIXC World in downtown Jing'an District. With fantastic sets and artistic installations inspired by the movie, the exhibition places a variety of flavored chocolate and colorful candies on display. Visitors might also get surprise gifts.
