Tourism expo to showcase lifestyle, coffee, water sports and culinary delights

Tourism Plus Shanghai 2025, a major tourism industry expo cluster, begins on Sunday and offers everything related to tourism from lifestyle and coffee to water sports and delicacies.

The five-day grand event will feature eight lifestyle festivals and 20 international and domestic competitions at four venues: Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center and Shanghai New International Expo Center in the Pudong New Area, the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) in Qingpu District, and Changfeng Joy City in Putuo District.

It brings together catering, hospitality, transportation, travel, shopping, and entertainment in five group exhibitions on 700,000 square meters with 68 exhibition sections in 15 industry segments. It is expected to draw 450,000 visitors from over 140 countries and regions.

HOTELEX Shanghai Coffee, Wine & Food Festival

You get to taste coffee from over 200 boutique cafes worldwide here, sample beans from different regions, try different roasting flavors, and learn about coffee preparation.

The festival is a visual and culinary feast.

Four world-class coffee competitions – brewing, latte art, barista, and roasting – will put on spectacular displays during Tourism Plus Shanghai 2025.

The 2025 China Brewers Cup, Latte Art Championship, and Barista Championship Shanghai Division are also on the menu.

A wine and chocolate bazaar will showcase unique wines from around the world and boutique chocolates, with prominent chocolatiers teaching chocolate making on site.

Global Flavor Cha Drink Culture Festival

Tea drinkers, pay attention! The Global Flavor Cha Drink Culture Festival will make its debut at Tourism Plus Shanghai.

This event provides a diverse experience, including tea pop-ups, fashionable drink exhibitions, intangible cultural heritage displays, and stylish fashion exhibits. Additionally, IP collaborations, DIY activities, and champion performances add flair.

The All Star Fashion Drinks Champion Show will bring together masters of diverse teas such as pu'er, tieguanyin, and jasmine to demonstrate their tea brewing techniques on-site.

China (Shanghai) International Boat Show & The Lifestyle Show Shanghai

The water sports carnival offers exciting activities such as diving, paddleboard racing, kayak freestyle, and electric hydrofoil surfing in a water playground. Expert coaches and leading water sports businesses will be around.

The carnival redefines water sports and changes the usual spectator paradigm into an immersive "liquid stage experiment" with over 20 events. Every 45 minutes, it alternates between tech demos, participatory education, and creative play, balancing professionalism with enjoyment.
