The "Huan Landers – Annual Photography Exhibition of the Huan Land Photography Community" has opened at the Shanghai Mass Art Center.
The community has over 3,900 photography enthusiasts and a total of 392 photos from 200 photographers – both professional and amateur – are on display.
Lu Yinlan, one of the curators, said the community had ignited a passion for photography.
"We hope that visitors can not only see these photos, but also see the people behind them – those who constantly rediscover the world and themselves through the lens," Lu said.
The exhibition conveys the message that photography is a daily practice everyone can participate in.

Xu Xin talks about the ideas behind his work.
An image of Shanghai at night captured by Xu Xin.
The photos record many beautiful and touching moments about life, youth and journeys.
Unlike many Shanghai-themed photos filled with nostalgia, Xu Xin's work demonstrates the contrast between new and old, capturing daily life in front of grand city landscapes.
"The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is a signpost for me to find my way home when I lost my way in my childhood," said Xu.
As a result, his instinct is to look for a scenic tower as a background.
He examines the city from a calm and objective perspective, adding that all its changes are as natural as metabolism.
These photos capture some of the moments Yi Wan, founder of the Huan Land Photography Community, shared with his son.

Yi Wan, founder of the photography community, has worked as a waiter, security guard, salesman and online editor in the city. He said the purchase of a camera changed the course of his life.
Through the online community, he has discovered and recommended many excellent photographers, exploring the stories and creative logic behind their work and encouraging people to constantly appreciate, discuss and think.
A number of photography enthusiasts have been attracted to the community, including young people who have just entered the workplace, middle-aged people who need to balance family and career, and the retired. They constantly communicate and share the experiences that photography brings them.
The exhibition will run till June 2. Handicraft workshops will also be held on May 10 and 24.
