Social organizations gather in Huangpu District for unique exhibition

A unique exhibition that is more like a magic box than simple display has opened in Huangpu District, featuring a wide array of interesting experiences through the end of December.

The Shanghai Social Organization Service Experience Exhibition brought together 39 experience activities from 35 social organizations in various sectors, such as protecting and revitalizing urban architecture, inheriting and promoting traditional culture, popularizing financial knowledge, promoting ecological protection and sustainable development, serving community needs, and caring for the elderly and children.

The activities include hands-on experience of shikumen (stone-gated architecture) alley construction skills and living customs, do-it-yourself auspicious fragrance cards made with rich traditional patterns, and clay figurines.

The Shanghai Securities and Futures Cultural Development Foundation brings its securities and futures culture theme board game to the exhibition. Through playing as a corporate executive to managing agricultural product orders profitably, players can learn securities and futures culture during the process.

The "Lifesaving Bottle" is promoted as a safe and fast rescue tool helping minors master basic emergency safety skills and improve their self-protection awareness.

After donning a pair of virtual reality glasses, viewers can experience the world through the eyes of an elderly person with a cognitive disorder.

The Conservation Association for Cultural Relics of Shanghai displayed physical samples and audio-visual materials of architectural heritage restoration, showcasing the process of modern architectural protection and restoration in Shanghai.
