Nordic Market wants people to feel like they are on holiday in Northern Europe.
A series of activities and events will be performed.
Nordic Market will open on December 20 at PAC in Jing'an District.
The market will feature percussion and jazz performances, street dance shows, theater performances, festival parades and Nordic-style stalls selling delicious food, coffee and beverages. The whole event is about making people feel as though they have traveled to the Scandinavian countries of Northern Europe.
The Polar Romantic Light Show is scheduled to be performed from 5:30pm to 6pm this Friday. The sky will be filled with brilliant colors and artificial snow falling will create a fairy tale-like atmosphere.
The Aurora Camp Party is scheduled from 5pm to 7pm this Saturday and is expected to provide a special outdoor experience for participants.
Nordic-style stalls sell delicious food, coffee and beverages.
A series of jazz and crystal ball performances, mime shows and DJ show on Christmas Eve will liven up the market. The resident band from House of Blues & Jazz, the city's first jazz bar, will be among those performing.
Working with WABC Barrier Free Artwalk, Pudong Art Museum and other public welfare organizations, Nordic Market will also provide a chance for visitors to purchase public welfare goods that support the employment of special groups, which gives the event a deeper social significance.
