A boat adorned with flowers

A boat laden with the essence of spring fills every corner with brocade-like flowers. The spring flower market has blossomed.
Panlong Tiandi, a renewal and upgrade of the ancient Panlong Town in Shanghai's suburban Qingpu District, is hosting a waterfront flower market and pet activities to celebrate spring.
The whole area has been turned into a floral paradise. Passing by the romantically blooming ancient stone slab bridges, people will see giant cherry blossoms in pink, while the Nanshi and An'shi ancient streets are adorned with floral elements.
A boat filled with flowers, like a spring palette, drifts on the river. The gently flowing river, swaying boat shadows, dopamine bouquets and purple flower baskets bring spring fragrance and richness.

The spring breeze wrinkles the river surface, rippling waves. As Shanghai's unique spring riverside market, the Panlong Water Market, which runs through April 20, every Friday to Sunday, transforms into a spring wonderland, featuring fresh flowers, potted plants, adorable pets, and handmade accessories, allowing people to encounter the spring of Jiangnan (region to the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River).
The Spring Pasture, a grassland pasture, awaits cute animals and enables people to enjoy outdoor fun and embrace the vitality of nature.
Vibrant greenery in Panlong Tiandi
The flower mart attracts a girl.
Panlong Tiandi is a peaceful respite from the urban grind, where Jiangnan's watertown blends with modern life. It has preserved the town's water system, bridge culture, and unique cross-street design, and was recently rated as a national-level tourist and leisure block.
The history of Panlong Tiandi can be traced back to the Sui Dynasty (581-618 CE) over 1,400 years ago. Panlong Town was born out of water and, amid commercial prosperity and flourishing temples, it had developed into a bustling Jiangnan ancient town by the first half of the 20th century. It is dotted with a number of attractions such as the Cheng Family Ancestral Hall, Fenglai Bridge, Xianghua Bridge, Catholic Church and Panlong Temple.
