The tension and beauty built up in every frame of Anderson's work has attracted many fans around the world. It was through his influence that Wally Koval and his wife, Amanda, came together to co-found a photography project called "Accidentally Wes Anderson (@accidentallywesanderson)".
The title of the exhibition is inspired by 'Accidental Wes Anderson,' an Instagram account created by the American couple, where they collected vintage, symmetrical Wes Anderson-inspired images from fans around the globe. Anderson's retro-symmetrical images inspire fillowers from all over the world to emulate his iconic compositions and colors. They captured buildings, scenes, and moments that echoed his films through their lenses, sharing their own views of "Wes Anderson's World."
The final selection of more than 300 photographs was approved by Anderson himself.
